"They offer valet parking and bicycle rentals through third parties, which makes things harder to manage. We experienced several issues with the valet service—they left my car in drive overnight, which drained the battery, and they also changed my car settings without permission. The front desk staff mentioned that we had one hour of free bicycle rental, but we were still charged for it, which was disappointing. The room wasn’t the cleanest, but it was acceptable overall. However, the hair dryer was very sticky and unpleasant to use, and the balcony’s condition and view were disappointing, so we didn’t end up using it. Overall, the stay was okay, but the issues with valet service, unexpected charges, and cleanliness could definitely be improved."

"Bedding had holes burned in them. The shower was unable to be used it was yellow and cracked up. The staff was super friendly and helpful but come on to spend 170 on 1 night and can’t even shower is not okay. I had been on the road for 6 hours. "

"My mom died so I booked the room for my Dad. A week before arrival his dad died so we called the desk and they said manager Carol will cancel since your within cancellation period and I just needed to call hotels.com. When they called she denied approval and refused to cancel or call me back after calling multiple times until Friday at 4pm before arrival. One time a receptionist even checked her office to let me know she was there and I was still sent to voicemail. I decided to make the trip instead of loosing out all the money and I'm glad I didn't send my Dad. Questionable cleanliness and management for SURE. Lots of dirt in the corners and black hairs all over the bathroom (I have blonde hair). The sink was falling apart and the staff didn't clean the soap scum off the bottles on the wall. Not what I expected after booking such an expensive oceanfront room at a resort but should have guessed considering the manager.... yikes ! "

"The property is old and is in need of an update. There appears to be black mold on the rim of the sinks and in the showers. The lighting is dim, and overall just feels rundown. The hotel boasts itself as pet-friendly, however, there's a sign in the lobby that states pets may not be left in the room unattended. This didn't affect my stay, but I imagine it could affect others. Something else to note was the fact that I was sent up to a room that belonged to someone else. Within 15 minutes of my alerting the front desk of this, they had sent another guest to the same occupied room that I was originally sent to. Finally, the hotel boasts 'Premium Channels' in regard to the tv. There was no menu on the tv, no way to figure out what was on without going through the 50+ channels, no way to pay for upgraded movies, and no way to stream on the tv. Seemed very antiquated. This was the least of my worries, but seems worth noting for future guests knowledge. Overall, the property left a 'bit to be desired'."
